Located on Urbanstraße in Berlin, the apartment was originally divided into numerous small rooms, resulting in a highly fragmented layout. The client’s brief was to transform the space into a more fluid and open environment, maximizing the entry of natural light.

The kitchen was repositioned at the centre of the living area, becoming the main organisational element of the apartment and structuring circulation towards the remaining spaces. This intervention reinforces spatial continuity and enhances flexibility of use.

The project prioritises spatial fluidity and adaptability, using light and neutral tones to amplify brightness. In contrast, the bathroom is conceived as a more introverted space, a sheltered environment, darker yet warm and inviting.

The apartment is an evolving project and is not yet fully completed, reflecting an open and ongoing design process.
